I practiced yoga regularly while I was in college and found the practice benefital for times of high stress and anxiety. Post college my practice waned until about a year and a half ago when I found myself depressed and suffering from anxiety attacks. As a new mother I was desperate to find the right solution. I visited doctors, went to counseling, attended church and while there were moments of relief nothing really shifted my mindset.

It was at that point I very organically fell into the practice of self-inquiry and meditation. This practice grounded me and brought me closer to Myself. At around this same time a friend introduced me to The Tree South LA and I was able to pair this new mindset to the physical practice.

The wholeness that the practice of meditation and yoga brought me led me to begin YTT at The Tree South LA. I am a recent graduate of the program and would love the opportunity to spread healing and wholeness to the demographic I come from.

I would describe my style of teaching as a gentle hatha flow. Very forgiving with some heat building postures. My style of meditation is one based in mindfulness and self inquiry. Noticing what is at the root of our thoughts, emotions and impulses. Emphasizing a strong focus on Love and non-violence.
