This workshop will explore the different components of self care based on a holistic and psychological approach. Participants will learn how to create self care survival kits, by using time & cost efficient techniques, which can help participants cultivate daily self care practices. This workshop will assist participants with identifying the best self care techniques for their daily practices and learn the importance of practicing self care on a daily basis.

Megan McCorvey, is a Human Service professional with an emphasis on social work and Human development. A certified 200 hour yoga instructor that advocates for safe spaces in communities of color where self care is expressed and encouraged. While working in the field of Human Services Megan has gained an immense amount of knowledge about the study of self care and a passion for sharing that knowledge with others.
